Helping Misguided Voters

Our efforts to report the truth about Obama and Progressives (Socialists), have little effect if you don’t tell others about this web site

(This article was written before the Trump Immigration Policy speech was presented in Phoenix, AZ on August 31, 2016. ) A revised plan follows this one.

A workable plan to implement the Trump border enforcement immigration and deportation policy

Pummeled by Liberals nationwide while trying to get swing votes, on a recent Fox Hannity program, Mr. Trump, expressing frustration over doing the right thing, asked his supporters to weigh in on immigration and deportation policy. This was a very smart offer given the complexity of the issue, the emotions involved, and the values as a nation we must uphold. To be clear, it is not racist to want to insure that America's sovereignty and security, and the safety of Americans and their jobs come first. Overall, this is smart leadership.

But the first element that needs to be understood is that the Fox News Hannity illegal immigrant number of 12 million is wrong. Based on my own research, and common sense, there are at least 26 million illegal immigrants in the US. Here is one confirming source. [Note: This data collection web site gets hijacked and redirected to the NFL occasionally because it shows about 26.7 million illegal Mexicans in the USA.] My other references and calculations are shown here. As you will read, the impact on the nation is quite severe.

For example, Pew estimates that 51% of all immigrant families are on welfare, but welfare program administrators do not ask for citizenship papers when people apply for welfare, so, we can easily presume a higher percentage of illegals in this mix because they will not have green cards.

Then we have both legal and illegal immigrant workers paying taxes, many via payroll deduction, then claiming dependents in Mexico because the tax form does not say dependents within the USA only, and they get tax credits that far exceed their paid taxes leading to huge refund check they then send home. By this reckoning we are perhaps supporting 25% of the Mexican population, while they also take hundreds of billions in wages away from American citizens!

So, at the least we should double all the numbers presented by Mr. Hannity.

Let's now try to resolve the problems philosophically, then create a two step plan:

1) Who should we deport? We should deport the bad guys immediately, family or no family.

2) We should execute murderers without delay because, like releasing murderers from GITMO, it makes no sense to allow them to run free to kill again, anywhere.

3) Whom else should we either accept or deport? It depends … because the problem becomes very complex and unworkable when we try to show compassion as our resources are not without limits.

It is simply uninformed nonsense to think that we can continue to absorb inflation created by just printing more money when jobs are being automated or going to other countries. Nor will increasing taxes solve the problem without severe hardship on the middle class, because when taxes get too high many of the wealthy will simply move to other countries, as is happening in Europe. Large profitable companies do the same.

4) The complexity of the problem means that we MUST follow the law without compassion and accept skilled contributors and send the unskilled home to their own country, UNLESS they now seek political asylum by claiming hunger of extreme danger existing in their country when they first arrived — they fled their country and immigrated to the US illegally — then settled in as de facto guest workers by obeying all our laws.

De facto guest workers would be further defined as those immigrants who came here illegally to end a personal human suffering or tragedy problem, with no option to do otherwise. Those accepted under these conditions would likely be given green cards to work, welfare if needed, but no path to citizenship until all necessary documents are provided.

Those that came here illegally just to live a better life, and have no useful skills, should be deported so they can work to make their own countries better. Or they could seek to stay as 'undocumented guest workers (UDGWs),' with or without sponsors, with no US benefits other than free healthcare, by receiving a lower class work permit, meaning Americans first, green card holders second, then UDGWs when filling jobs. UDGWs would have no path to citizenship until all necessary documents are provided.

The specific set of conditions to get on a path to citizenship are not fully discussed here, but would include repayment of monies obtained (illegally) by claiming dependents living in Mexico then sending the monies home — see The Wall — no longer receiving any welfare, etc.

And — very important — no chain (extended family) migration should be allowed or we will quickly have 100 million new (Spanish speaking) immigrants, most on welfare.

5) It's NOT racism to want to protect Americans: All related jobs must be first advertised for one month in all local publications and places of employment. These jobs would be filled first by Americans, then by green card holders, then by UDGWs, And once hired no one can be bumped out by another.

6) Allow all Hispanic US veterans deported for minor crimes to become US citizens without delay, with all their promised VA benefits. (Mr. Obama has been generous to Muslims but especial cruel to all others, especially Christians and Jews.)

Read stories of human tragedy we allow by not automatically providing veterans citizenship:
Tragedy 1
Tragedy 2
Tragedy 3

7) Mexico has compounded the overall problem by not setting up homeless shelters or 'turn around' stations at each of the border crossings, which it should be obligated to do. This is a human rights issue laid entirely on the US.

The Two Step Plan

I make no distinction between executive order or congressional law — in the world of business we just do it.

Step 1 — do all the following simultaneously (including all of the above if not specifically mentioned):

A) Offer US citizenship to all foreign nations who serve 3-years in the US military honorably or have honorable discharges — No exceptions. (Many are hispanic.)

Then offer them positions in the US Border Patrol and Immigration Enforcement Services.

B) Round up and execute all foreign nationals convicted of murder, and deliver all the other foreign national rapists, kidnappers and criminals to the Mexican police. With the provision that should they enter the US again, they will be considered 'invaders' and treated as terrorists, then sent to GITMO or a maximum security prison, indefinitely.

C) Require the IRS to prove US citizenship or legal Immigration status of every person in the US*, and before issuing any Social Security numbers or ID cards. (*In most cases this can be done by cross-referencing information in employment and state databases.)

1) Stop the IRS from giving all suspected foreign nationals tax credits for dependents not in the US — let them prove otherwise.

2) Stop the IRS from giving unearned income (wealth redistribution) checks to all suspected foreign nationals — let them prove otherwise.

3) Stop the IRS from allowing Remittance funds from going to Mexico (any country) when the sender is a suspected illegal immigrant — let them prove otherwise.

Step 2

D) Tell the president of Mexico that the Remittance Program with the US Treasury (US transfer of funds to chosen bank) is halted until the following is agreed to:

1) The Wall is paid for by the Remittance program per agreement.

2) Mexico sets up permanent safe zones, shelters and resettlement centers at all US border crossings.

3) Mexico agrees to help Mexican immigrants currently living in the US to get copies of all necessary papers to become legal US residents.

4) Mexico agrees to help these Mexican immigrants receive safe passage through Mexico during this process, assisted if necessary by the Mexican US veterans now with duel citizenship.

E) Use the 2,700 military vehicles Obama has retrofitted for street use for this purpose if necessary.

F) Allow illegal immigrants currently in the US to leave the country whenever they wish to get their papers (Note 1), after signing out, so that they can be properly signed back in. Then let them take their papers to their local immigration authority for processing so the border crossings are not overloaded.

We should do DNA testing to determine who is who's child or parent to avoid accepting those trying to secure immigration status illegally and to cull out smugglers and human traffickers.

Note 1: But, NO work permits, NO welfare, NO path to citizenship, NO remittance processing, and NO Social Security checks without being a legal resident of the US.

After the Trump Immigration Policy speech, I adjusted the article to say the following:

In support of Mr. Trump's immigration plan

In full support of Mr. Trump's immigration plan, the final step of which is to eventually deal with the illegals solidly entrenched in the US with anchor babies — a process that must be stopped — and long term residency, I offer the following suggestions.

It begins with using the 'soft approach,' which seems to be the consensus, while obeying all US immigration law. This is also in direct contradiction to Dr. Krauthammer's thesis — IBD, September 2, 2016 ? — that there is only one way to deal with the issue — amnesty — and that we should do it now, which is a terribly solution in many ways but will not be debated because it is not the purpose of this response.

The soft solution is to eventually help these illegals, in limited numbers, get their records so they can become legal residents. It is very important however that this be done after we know how many there are, then set policy, so as not to disadvantage Americans seeking employment by adding millions of newly legal green card holders to compete with. It would be far better to just leave things as they are because time would eventually resolve the issue as these illegals retire, if anchor babies are done away with.

The process would go something like this:

1) Mexico would agree to help the selected Mexican immigrants currently living in the US to get copies of all necessary papers to become legal US residents.

2) Mexico would agree to help these Mexican immigrants receive safe passage through Mexico during this process, assisted if necessary by the Mexican US veterans now with duel citizenship. The Mexican US veteran issue is another ethical humanitarian crisis that must be dealt with. Read more here:
Tragedy 1
Tragedy 2
Tragedy 3

3) Given we are to deport over 1.5 million Mexican criminals that would desperately like to either get back into the US or find a source of income by exploiting these US bound immigrants, use the 2,700 military vehicles Obama has retrofitted for street use for this purpose if necessary.

4) Allow this select group of illegal immigrants currently in the US to leave the country whenever they wish to get their papers (Note 1), after signing out, so that they can be properly signed back in. Then let them take their papers to their local immigration authority for processing so the border crossings are not overloaded.

If, however, the process is to be handled at the border crossing, then Mexico should agree to set up permanent safe zones, shelters and resettlement centers on the Mexican side of all US border crossings to deal with overcrowding from all potential applicants. It's time Mexico shared responsibility for the issues it created.
